Product Introduction:
Tetrapropylammonium Hydroxide (TPAH) is a strong organic base and a quaternary ammonium compound with a molecular structure similar to ammonium hydroxide, but with much stronger alkalinity than sodium or potassium hydroxide. TPAH is widely used as a template agent in the synthesis of molecular sieves (such as TS-1 for green oxidation processes), a catalyst for the polymerization of organosilicon products and polycarbonates, a cleaning agent in the electronics industry, a phase transfer catalyst in organic synthesis, a regulator in surfactant formulations, and as a polarographic reagent and pH adjuster in analytical chemistry.
